This is our creative source, the place from which we create our present experience from moment to moment. Getting reconnected to your inner self is the key to manifesting lifelong success. When you approach each moment with fresh eyes and an open heart, you are no longer defined by your past pain or your fears for the future. This creative power of your conscious self is a new kind of creativity. It’s not limited to artistic ability or outside-the-box problem solving. It is the power of your being to recreate the unique expression of life that is you at this present moment. That is the primal creativity of Nature itself moving through you, and this is the creative power behind all success. CENTERING THOUGHT: I draw from the wellspring of my creativity. SANSKRIT MANTRA: Har Haray Haree (Creative forces flow through me). Manifesting True Success is a 21-Day Guided Meditation created by Oprah Winfrey & Deepak Chopra, to learn more click here. 1.) Consider how much of your life is lived creatively, independent of past conditioning and old beliefs. Do you feel you are ready to let go of some of that conditioning and those constricting beliefs? For the most part I believe that I have already rid myself from most of the conditioning and beliefs that were thrust upon me as a child be it from schooling or religion. As far as my home life I was always given the encouragement to be myself and seek out new things constantly and consistently. I’ve always been curious by nature and I’m blessed to have come from a household where self exploration was encouraged although certain parts of my foundation were very definite and remain with me today. 2.) Write down a description of yourself as a creative spirit who generates your personal reality from within. List some of the old thoughts, feelings, and attitudes you used to hold on to that limited your expression. My creative spirit is free. This allows me to be open to other ways of learning, thinking, and being reverent. My old ways of thinking constricted my creativity and in turn my growth because I didn’t feel comfortable enough and confident enough to fully be myself. I have muted my voice and my personality to accommodate the insecurities and egos of others many times which only harmed myself. I used to find comfort in being seemingly comfortable when in reality I was suffocating and my creative spirit was suffering. I had a bad habit of always wanting others to be “happy” or comfortable sacrificing my own happiness in the process. 3.) Expand on this description of your creative self by envisioning yourself feeling new and energized each day, eager to embrace the unknown and the possibilities it may bring. In an ideal situation I would rise to each day fully confident in my abilities and even when I am not I have the strength to see the day through completing my tasks and accomplishing my goals. Being open creatively allows the work to flow freely and also keeps my energy positive and light. Being open creatively opens other areas of your life and the manner in which you interact with others as well creating a continuous stream of positive energy in the forms of love, compassion, acceptance, and a spirit of giving. It makes for endless possibilities to grow, create, and manifest. 4.) Daily Reflection: Although I was raised in church and have that foundation with me to this very day, I was also encouraged by numerous people who raised me to be myself and always remain true to that. All of my formal education and teachings play an equally important role in my composition as the things I have sought out myself be it through reading or first hand experience. There are still some old habits and ways of thinking I need to shed but I have come a long way. I’ve found the more I trust my creativity, the more my fears diminish. The more my fears diminish, the more I am open to the things on my path that yield my attention and give me direction on my journey. Creativity is heightened by love and acting on your creative hunches. Success for some people are the fruit they reap from their creative visions but for me, success is the willingness to act to on those creative nudges. I believe this because action takes conquering fear and often times leaving your comfort zones, that is success, the things we receive or gain from taking those steps are perks for our obedience and believing in ourselves. Affirmed: My creativity knows no bounds. My ability to learn and willingness to seek more than surroundings readily give me, allows me to grow daily & diminish my deepest fears. Love opens my heart and frees my mind; my creativity is abundant & uniquely mine.
