“The first step to success is getting out of your own way.”  Steven Stromick

Welcome to Week Three of Manifesting True Success. This week we will take the material we have been learning and put it all together so that success becomes second nature. We begin today with a meditation that connects us to the infinite organizing power of Nature. Often our days can become a chaotic series of tasks, events, and problems to deal with. Life is dynamic and ever-changing, and we can’t stop that. But to be a success, your day must be a success. That seemingly chaotic activity must begin to flow with a kind of ease and grace beneath it.

This orderly flow happens from within, from the self-organizing power of our awareness. This is the same intelligence that governs all the diverse activity of the universe. As we tap into that inner power, it will automatically coordinate and harmonize the events of our day into a success.

CENTERING THOUGHT: I use the organizing power of my awareness.

SANSKRIT MANTRA: Shree Gum Namah (I open my awareness to unlimited possibilities).

1.) Reflect on your old strategy for organizing your life: trying to control every detail, multitasking three or four activities at the same time, and using willpower and emotional intensity to impose order. Was that a successful strategy that achieved long term results? Did you gain support from others? Did it allow you to feel relaxed and satisfied afterward?

No; in all actuality I gained nothing from trying to organize my life and business in these ways. If anything I limited my creativity and that of others as well as closed myself off from a few opportunities. But in the same regard if those opportunities are for me they will come back around when the appointed time manifests itself. I rarely felt relaxed and satisfied although I did gain some support from others.

2.) For awareness to organize your daily activities, it must be centered, calm, and alert. When your awareness is agitated, upset, or tired, your day will not be successful. Write about the events of two different days that represent those opposite states of awareness.

When I am centered, calm and alert I am much more efficient and my work is far more pleasurable. I tend to get more done in shorter amounts of time and I tend to be more focused. When I am in this state I find it easier to say no to things that are not conducive to the tasks at hand and often find those same opportunities to hang out and chill still await me when I am done with my priorities be they personal or professional.

When I am tired, upset, or agitated my energy is off and so my day tends to spiral. I either neglect my work or produce from a half hearted place. This is why when I am emotionally, mentally, spiritually, or physically tired I step back from my work and come back to it when I am in a better space. Its better to operate from a centered place than to create just to create. This is why we must have a schedule but still be open to the flow of life.

3.) The organizing power of consciousness creates a natural flow to the events of your day. Describe a time when you felt well-connected to your source, and everything flowed smoothly the entire day.

For the most part of over the past few months I have been feeling well connected and aligned with myself and my purpose. However in the past few weeks I have felt much discourse in my life and initially I tried to work through it but I found that I simply needed to step back and retreat to myself. When my day flows smoothly, I sleep better and it sets the tone for the next day. My current short term goal is to rearrange my schedule and adhere to it better creating a positive hypnotic rhythm that allows me to flow effortlessly with the organizing power of consciousness that creates a natural flow to my day.

4.) Daily Reflection:

Just like with anything else in life there has to be balance. You have to have a plan but you have to be open to shifts in that plan. Acting from a rigid space will only cause discourse to arise within us and in turn that will directly reflect in our outside worlds. We create behavioral patterns and hypnotic rhythms no matter what we do with our day, it is just our choice and responsibility to create a positive flow within our lives. Once we have this flow going our levels of efficiency will rise and we are able to do more with our time.

Affirmed: There is nothing wrong with being organized. Even in my organization I have the ability to flow freely with my day and the organizing power of consciousness. Adhering to a schedule will make more efficient allowing me to be more productive and freeing up time for other activities in my life. I can do what I want and what I love in a controlled and systematic way. My life and time are balanced and I am open to the flow of the Universe.
