We are excited that you are joining us on this inward journey of gratitude and grace. Together we will discover how to make grace the active center of your life here and now. The source of grace already resides within our own awareness. We don’t need to go anywhere or search anywhere to find it, we only need to change our perception of what is already around us. In the next three weeks we will learn how gratitude shifts our awareness, changing our approach to others and the world. This new perspective will reveal the grace that already inhabits our life. SANSKRIT MANTRA: Dhanya Vad (I feel gratitude). 1.) What does grace mean to you? To me grace isn’t one thing. Grace is the peace that can arise in the midst of a negative situation you maybe facing. Grace is the chance you get when you or others feel you may not deserve one. Grace is the opportunity you get that changes your life. Grace isn’t something that is based on your status quo or behavior its a blessing despite of our behavior. 2.) Make a list of the people in your life you are most grateful for. I am extremely grateful for my family and friends. I am even more grateful for the people that support me near and far, those that I know and those that I may not know. 3.) Now, list one specific thing about each of those people that you are thankful for. I am thankful for my family because they keep me grounded. I am grateful for my friends because they accept me for who I am and its a choice not an obligation. I am thankful for the people that support me because they are helping to not only fuel my dreams but that of others as well. 4.) Daily Reflection: Grace has met me in dark places and brought me out as well as taken my better days and made them so much more vibrant and purposeful. Grace has given me the comfort and confidence to make mistakes knowing that there is an opportunity for learning on the other side. I am thankful for grace because there’s times where I felt undeserving of better and still received the blessings that were for me.
