Goodrich We might think that to live in grace requires us to pursue a devout lifestyle and retreat from the world. However, we have learned that grace abides in all things, all places, and all times. If we go beyond our changing personalities to connect with our essential self, we contact this ever-present grace and can live this state of grace even in the everyday world. Our true self is peaceful, but not inert. It is intelligent, powerful, and intimately involved in our every wish and dream. The true self has the creative power and intelligence to direct and manifest your life’s journey. When you step into and participate with life from this level, you are always grateful and find grace everywhere. SANSKRIT MANTRA: Kritajna Hum (I am gratitude). 1.) Write down ways you can live and speak your truth more often. Being constant no matter which medium I find myself in or on. A lot of people have differing personalities, beliefs, and ways based on the social media platform they choose to interact on at the time. I wish to be the same wherever I am virtually or in reality. Being more vulnerable in my work, I have definitely progressed but still have a ways to go. Going to places and events and engaging when things are outside of my comfort zone and/or genre. Voicing my opinions, observations, and concerns despite how or what I think people will feel. Being more firm in my business decisions, actions, and interactions. 2.) Of your many selves – work self, family self, public self, intimate self – which one needs to come forward more often? I think they all could use a little more exposure but if I had to choose any I would say my intimate self but it’s not something I share with the people intentionally. So, my work self needs to come forward most often. I would like to be more firm and fluid in my work self. 3.) Once you know which self needs to come forward more, note some ways to make this happen. Maintain a level of focus. Commit myself to my work. Sacrifice more. Complete tasks; on time and in a timely fashion. 4.) Daily Reflection: I live and speak my truths daily. These truths carry over into my work and my relationships and are the stepping stones needed to grow me and my business for the long haul. When living my truths there will be resistance but I have the strength to withstand all difficulties that may come my way. I focus on the support and things that uplift me while being aware yet unaffected by the things that attempt to bring me down. I am grateful and I am covered in grace.
