Manifesting Grace Through Gratitude Day 17: Making Grace A Way Of Life Danielle Rogers August 5, 2015 Enlightenment, Spirituality, Theme Features, Uncategorized, Visionary, Words of Wisdom Manifesting True Success is a 21-Day Guided Meditation created by Oprah Winfrey & Deepak Chopra, to learn more click here. “All that we have and don’t have is a grace.” ― Mac MacKenzie In today’s meditation, we go beyond the mere behavior and attitude of gratitude, and let gratitude and grace become our way of being and living in the world. In the past, feelings of grace may have been rare and fleeting moments. To make grace permanent, we need to establish gratitude as a habit, so it becomes your default mode of relating to others. When gratitude is the natural way you approach life, it is no longer an activity you try to remember to do. Gratitude is simply how you express who you are and how you feel. The practice of gratitude naturally and invisibly becomes a life lived in the state of grace. SANSKRIT MANTRA: Vratum Ahum (I am the consciousness that accepts life with wisdom). 1.) Looking back over the past few weeks, consider how the practice of gratitude has improved the quality of your life. Write about any ways in which it might have brought more trust, love, surrender, kindness, or faith in your daily life. Practicing gratitude has helped me with thinking before I speak and minimizing the negative things I could find to say about people and situations. Times where I would have been combative, I choose to remain silent. Instances when I normally would have gotten worked up I was able to breathe my way through. My needs have been met and continue to be met so in turn my faith is ever increasing. 2.) Write down the most productive acts of gratitude that have increased grace in your life. Surrender; to that in which I cannot control. Also when conversations had the potential to get heated. Just being thankful. Being myself. 3.) Now, note one area in which you feel you could improve your practice of gratitude. I still can do better in decision making in a few small areas but I have vastly improved. 4.) Daily Reflection: I am thankful for my growth and I am thankful that I know and honor the power of gratitude. Nothing I’ve ever been or done has been in line with what the world has told me I should be. Even though I often lived my truths, I wasn’t always confident. Being thankful for who I am as a woman, person, and creator has grown my confidence tremendously and continues to make way in my life for an abundance of magnificent things. Gratitude has brought me out of some pretty dark places and at times it’s been all I’ve had, literally. I’ll never not be thankful for all that I am blessed with and will continue to be blessed with. I will honor these blessings by being confident, walking in my purpose, working diligently, listening to my intuition, loving others, and being of service when I can.
